Clean Up Your Neighborhood, Improve San Diego’s Environment at Creek to Bay

I Love A Clean San Diego is looking for more than 6,000 volunteers to help clean and beautify local beaches, waterways, canyons, and parks on Saturday, April 27th from 9am-12pm for its 17th Annual Creek to Bay Cleanup. Registration is officially open for this countywide cleanup event. Volunteers are encouraged to sign up for a location in their neighborhood as a way to give back to the local environment for Earth Day. From Alpine to Mission Beach and San Ysidro to Oceanside, there are 114 cleanup sites throughout San Diego County where volunteers may participate. Spring Fling Business Expo

The La Mesa Chamber of Commerce announces a change of date for the 5th Annual “Spring Fling” Business Expo originally scheduled for Thursday, April 25th. The Community Center is currently undergoing refurbishing. Due to the uncertainly of those upgrades being completed in time for the event, the Chamber chose to incorporate the ” Spring Fling” with the 6th annual ” Summer Bash” Business Expo, being on Thursday, August 15th. Don’t miss out on this summer fun! There will be raffle prizes galore, a silent auction and over 48 Free Door Prizes! Tickets are offered to “Summer Bash” at $15 per person and will be available soon.
