The new, beautiful and luxurious Viejas Casino Resort, located adjacent to Viejas Casino in Alpine, will open on Thursday, March 21, kicking off a three-day gala celebration for invited guests on Thursday; and for the general public on Friday, March 22, and Saturday, March 23.
Highlighting the festivities will be the world premiere of “Rise,” a Cirque du Soleil exhibition of artistry and acrobatics on Saturday.
The five-story property will include a total of 128 rooms, with 99 deluxe accommodations and 29 suites.

The entire Viejas Casino Resort property is designated as a non-smoking hotel. Amenities will include a sparkling pool and hot tub, fully equipped cabanas available for rental, a business center, state of the art fitness center, room service and, of course, valet parking.
Guests can look forward to Beauty Rest Euro Top mattresses, Samsung high definition TVs, nightly turndown services, free internet including wifi and Direct Connect and even his and hers robes in every room.
Rates for casino guests will depend on the individual’s level of play as well as availability. Rates for non-casino guests will range from $119 to $479 per night.
This property certainly looks like it will be awarded Four Diamond status in the near future, as no detail has been overlooked toward providing absolutely impeccable surroundings and service.
The project, with a cost of more than $36 million, provided 450 construction jobs and will add 60 new Viejas employees dedicated to providing first class service to guests.
