Grossmont College’s Hyde Art Gallery is kicking off the fall semester with its annual “Faculty and Staff Exhibition: IN•SIGHT” from Aug. 24 through Sept. 1. The exhibition showcases artwork produced by arts educators in the Visual Arts and Humanities Department, providing gallery guests with a unique glimpse into the multi-dimensional talents that thrive in the college community. A reception will be held at the Hyde Art Gallery on Aug. 29 from 4-6 p.m.

This exhibition also offers an invaluable opportunity for students to connect with their mentors on a deeper level. By observing the diverse range of artworks and techniques on display, students gain “IN•SIGHT” into the artistic minds that shape their educational experience.

As devoted mentors, faculty and staff inspire and guide students every day and guests are invited to witness their artistic journey and creative ingenuity up close. Featuring a diverse range of media, this exhibit represents the various disciplines taught within Grossmont College’s art programs including ceramics, digital media, drawing, jewelry, painting, photography, printmaking and sculpture.
