This year’s pageant emcees were Stephanie Schauer and Shannon Monaghan, both former Miss El Cajon and Miss Rancho San Diego, kept an upbeat demur despite a few technical glitches.

Pageant directors Connie Rhamy and Julie Crawley described this year a privilege to work with a group of lovely young women who proudly represent El Cajon. Beginning the pageant were the pre teen and junior teen contestants in evening wear presentations and impromptu questions, followed by the Teen and Miss contestants.

As all the pageant contestants were brought back to the stage for one more stage walk for everyone to see them before reveling the winners of the 2014 pre teen winners, each girl stood hand in hand as this year’s 2014 El Cajon and Rancho San Diego ambassadors were announced.

Earning the titles as ambassadors for El Cajon are Miss El Cajon Heather Bareno, Teen Miss El Cajon Lexy Hanna, Jr Teen Miss El Cajon Barbara Sweetwood and Pre-Teen Miss El Cajon Lei ‘Imani Boyd.

Ambassadors for Rancho San Diego are Miss Rancho San Diego Katie Hudgins, Teen Miss Rancho San Diego Casie Gilliam, Jr. Teen Miss Rancho San Diego Alexandria De Mars and Pre-Teen Miss Rancho San Diego Genevieve Guzman.
