Useless Rhetoric rocks out for people with special needs

With classic cover songs from the 70s and 80s, along with some originals, rock band Useless Rhetoric performed at Parky’s Saloon with all proceeds going to UR Charities, a non-profit that helps children and adults with special needs.

This is nothing new for Useless Rhetoric. This band never plays for profit and in a little more than three years has raised nearly $100,000 for local charities.

The night’s impressive lineup included founder Scott West, with guitar, keyboard and vocals, Lynda West on the bass and vocals, Scott Young on drums and vocals, Doug Tyler on guitar, Dennis Dobler on guitar, Michael Monroe on bass and special guest of the evening Dave Good, playing the saxophone.
