The Lemon Grove Lions Club celebrated its 10th anniversary honoring a decade of community service and volunteer leadership.
The club had a private event which was attended by club members and guests from District 4L6, including members of the executive board, past district governors and incoming leadership.
“This celebration was more than just a look back — it was a recognition of how far we’ve come and how committed we are to the future,” said club president Ken Burke.
“Together, we’ve lived the Lions motto, ‘We Serve,’ in both small and significant ways.”
Over the past 10 years, the club has been involved in a variety of service projects, including eyeglass recycling to support global vision programs, graffiti removal, neighborhood beatification and local trash pickup events. Members have also provided financial and logistical support for various community causes.
As the club enters its second decade, members reaffirmed their commitment to service, collaboration and continued community impact.
