Santee Lakes is getting ready for its Mega Catfish Stock Event STOCKZILLA on Oct. 7-8, with 3,500 hundred pounds of catfish split between Lakes 2-7.
“It’s a great time to come out and catch some catfish. If you are camping with us, it is your lucky weekend.” said Greg Even, the coordinator behind this event in a statement. “You should really get a campsite. You can book yours at santeelakes.com.”
Even said there will be tagged fish for gifts cards.
Permits are $10 for adults, $6 for juniors and seniors, and parking is $7. Participants
Can pre-buy permits at the General Store from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
Angry Petes Pizza will be open during the event from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
