The Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District is hosting an online auction of surplus equipment, electronics, and other items. The online auction will be open through March 31, and viewable at http://calauctions.com. The auction is open to the public, and both business owners and individuals are invited to peruse the various sur¬plus items for sale, offered by the district, and Grossmont and Cuyamaca colleges.
The district regularly conducts inventory and sale of surplus items, as part of their commitment to reducing their carbon footprint and giving new life to equipment and technology gathering dust in the warehouses. Special finds and high valued items include JBL speakers, Mac computers, a Caterpillar forklift, several large storage units, stage lighting equipment, commercial lattice, digital SLR cameras, and even a vintage Polaroid Land Camera with film.
Additional property and gen¬tly used items donated by academic and operational departments include:
Industrial freezers and refrigerators, medical equipment: training dummies, nursing stations, gurneys, training defibrillators, and a baby warmer, bar¬code scanners, parking pay stations, office equipment and supplies, such as chairs, printers, desktop and laptop computers; microscopes and other laboratory equipment, rowing machines
Some items will be sold individually, and others will be sold by the pallet.

uction winners can pick up their purchased items between Wednesday, April 2, 9 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. and Thursday, April 3, 9 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Item descriptions and lot numbers will identify the pick-up location.
