The San Diego Antique and Collectable Show has been around for 30 years, and it has a new home in El Cajon, at 311 Highland Ave, next to Unity Church. The show is every third Saturday of the month, open to the public from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.. At the show you will find a variety of antiques and collectables in all categories. There are specialist dealers for jewelry, rare books, militaria, coins, Western Americana and more. Customers come from all over the county, last year we had a couple from Japan that came to the show. The show offers thumbnail appraisals for $5.00 an item, and most of the dealers will make you a cash offer if you want to sell your items. Surprising finds can surface at the show, one of our dealers found an original Abraham Lincoln Carte du visite in a $5.00 postcard box, which made his day! Sometimes after walking through the show the customers want to become dealers, thinking about the garage full of antiques they inherited. Becoming a dealer is easy, large outside spaces sell for $30.00. So make plans to visit, admission is always free!
