If we can't buy them out

If we can't buy them out somehow, what about a class action lawsuit? Let's sue for our lost property value. (Who is going to buy near a strip mine?) We could also go after them for the damage to our health.

As far as a buyout: What would be the NET value of the material after extraction expenses? (Excavation, trucking, supposed restoration, etc.)

Where is the EPA, Nature Conservancy, Cal EPA, or other such defenders of the earth?I'll be happy to move, if I get the pre-Obama price. I liked it here before SDGE vandalized us with their MX to LA "power link," and refused to pay for the damage to my property. It seems to be all about greed, be it corporate or government.
