• A Veteran’s Day celebration will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Nov. 11 at El Cajon Centennial Plaza, 200 Civic Center Way, in El Cajon.
•The Santee Chamber of Commerce and the city of Santee are hosting the unveiling of a Veterans Memorial and bridge dedication during a Veterans Day ceremony at the corner of Fanita Parkway and Mast Bouelvard beginning at 11 a.m. Nov. 11. Parking is limited but a shuttle will be provided at Padre Dam’s Customer Service parking lot, 9300 Fanita Parkway.
