The tenant that moved into the place was told by the landlord that a snake was missing, but didn’t think much of it. Heartland Fire & Rescue in La Mesa, along with La Mesa Police and the El Cajon Animal Control responded to the call. Upon arrival, first responders found an 8-foot Columbian Red Tail Boa.
