Lemon Grove Lions tidy up

Lemon Grove club members David Eckler and Joe Coratti, along with friend Joshua Klein, founder of the Lemon Grove Volunteers, came together to clean up an abandoned gas station in Lemon Grove. After gathering more than 60 bags of trash, a dump run was needed and paid for by the Lemon Grove Lions Club. The Lemon Grove public works department stepped up, assisting by picking up a one-half ton of debris that was put out on the curb. There were outreach services offered to the homeless who were there at the time, but the services were refused. These gentlemen embody the motto “whatever is needed.”

They also specialize in graffiti removal, having covered hundreds of gang tags from fences, buildings, and sidewalks throughout the city.

The Lemon Grove Lions Club and Lemon Grove Forward Club support and collaborates with them in all their efforts to make the Lemon Grove community a better place to live and play.
