La Mesa Mayor Mark Arapostathis presents Montera resident Eule Belle Haver with a Certificate of Recognition honoring her 102nd birthday. Haver was born on Oct. 27, 1915 in Alabama. She had a twin sister named Clara Belle, now deceased. She enjoyed life as a housewife while her husband served in the military. She was known as the neighborhood Mom, often serving homemade spaghetti and inviting everyone over to eat. She has one son, Larry. She loves pecan pie, dogs, the color red, playing Bingo, and enjoys being pampered by having her hair and nails done. She can often be heard singing the song “You Are My Sunshine” throughout the day. Haver is a resident at The Montera in La Mesa, a WESTliving senior living facility.
