The Lakeside Library Branch is holding a free event on July 29 from 10 a.m. to noon to help first responders buy and sell homes with large commission rebates with the Thank You Heroes Home Rebate Program.
This program is available to all first responders, police, firefighters, EMTs, healthcare workers, military, and educators.
The no-cost program allows those eligible to receive up to a 30% commission rebate when they buy or sell a home.
An expert team of market, financial and lending experts will walk attendees through a list of questions and considerations relating to the current market environment, including:
Detailed steps to homeownership and first-time home buyer programs
Loan programs that fit your life
Special rebate programs and discounts for first responders and other community heroes
Finding assistance for down payment and closing costs
How to evaluate your mortgage readiness
What lenders will need to pre-approve you
How to handle higher interest rates
Presenters will also review real-world strategies that have helped buyers overcome high interest rates and rising home prices and achieve their dream of home ownership and maximize the current market situation.
Space is limited and registration is recommended in advance to guarantee a spot. Attendees can pre-register at www.thankyouheroes.com/education.
Panel presenters will take individual questions during the event and everyone in attendance will receive takeaway educational materials about topics addressed.
