I just visited your website and wanted to thank you for keeping the journalistic excellence of The Californian alive.
I was a cub reporter in the late ‘60s on The Daily Californian.
I got lucky. Literally.

I was graduating from San Diego State and had no idea what I was going to do. A friend told me there was going to be an opening at The Californian.
A reporter there was moving to the Christian Science Monitor in Boston. No one knew it.
I got the job on a Tuesday, graduated on Thursday and started Monday.
The editor of The Oregonian and three of his editors had recently bought the Californian. Wonderful experience.
It looks like you have a very nice publication that would make that group proud.
