Visitors to Santee Lakes are in for a fun fright should they visit the preserve this weekend.
The third annual Spooktacular & Trunk-or-Treat celebration takes place Saturday, Oct. 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Organizers said visitors will go on “a magical journey beginning at Gale Farm, through Munchkin Land, past the Poppy Field and Haunted Forest, and finally to the Land of Oz.”
The main event area will feature games, an inflatable pumpkin, donut walk, face painting, photo ops, mini golf and food trucks.
The event is free however parking costs $10.
