The El Cajon Police Department arrested 21-year-old Antoine Haynes from El Cajon on April 21, who was a suspect of sex trafficking underaged girls.
Authorities said undercover ECPD detectives from the Special Investigation identified Haynes after they located at least two victims and additional evidence corroborating the information. During the investigation these finding were determined that Haynes met the girls through mutual friends and Haynes began explicit relationships with the juvenile victims through social media.
According to the ECPD press release, Haynes was in possession of marijuana and a ghost gun when arrested at the 600 block of Fletcher Parkway.
Haynes was booked on numerous charges including pandering of a minor, sending harmful matter to a minor, felon possession of a firearm, and possession of an undetectable firearm. Po lice requested an enhanced bail – amount, but Haynes was denied bail and is currently in custody awaiting arraignment.
