Fido Fest, East County’s largest dog festival, makes its much-anticipated return for 2025. This canine festival will take place on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Town Center Community Park East, with a day filled with fun, fur, and festivities for dogs and dog lovers alike. Fido Fest is a family-friendly event designed to celebrate the bond between dogs and their humans whether you’re a proud pet parent, a dog enthusiast, or simply looking for a fun day out.

Fido Fest features a lineup of activities for festival goers.

Pups of all sizes can show off their skills and agility at the Doggy Agility Courses. Dress your furry friend in their finest for prizes in the Pet Costume Contest. Meet dogs from more than 20 shelters looking for forever homes at Adoption Alley. Find pet-friendly products, services, and tasty treats from more than 50 vendors in Vendor Village. Get pet licensing, free microchipping, and pet tips from veterinarians and pet health experts at the Dog Wellness Zone. Bring unopened dog food, bedding, blankets, new toys, and other items that will be donated to the rescue organizations participating in Fido Fest and be entered into an opportunity drawing with the festivals Donation Drive. There will be arts, crafts, and demonstrations throughout the day by the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department K-9 unit and the Santee Fire Department Search & Rescue Dog.
