On Thursday, Aug. 15, La Mesa Chamber members came together to entertain the public, their associates and guests at the final expo of the year, the “Summer Bash” Business Expo.  Businesses and food and beverage vendors began arriving at 3:30 p.m. to set up their vendor booths at the La Mesa Community Center preparing for the evening’s festivities and the doors to open at 5:00 p.m.

The networking was fast and furious and the buzz in the room grew throughout the evening, as people continued to arrive.

At times it was difficult to hear the evening Emcee, Brian Sack making his scheduled announcements. A capacity number of 50 business vendors were in attendance and tickets were sold out a week before the event. All of the participating businesses were hot and heavy on the microphone, as they announced the winners of their 49 free door prizes to the delightful screams of those lucky winners!

All of the food and beverage providers brought their “A” game and served delicious samples from their restaurants/businesses to the joy of the evening guests. People sang the praises of the evening’s dedicated food and beverage partners: Brew Coffee Spot, Café Carmel Bakery, Cali Comfort BBQ, Dream Dinners, Little Roma, Marie Callender’s – La Mesa, Nonno’s Ristorante Italiano, Pick Up Stix, Ranch Events, Samuel Adams, Sycuan Casino Resort, The Hills Local Pub and Valley Farm Market.

A huge “round of applause” to the evening sponsors: Title Sponsor – Sycuan Casino Resort, Presenting Sponsor – SMIB Management, Inc., Supporting Sponsors – Carl Burger Dodge Chrysler Jeep RAM World, San Diego County Credit Union – La Mesa, SDG&E, and Westmont of La Mesa.  They are joined by Community Spectrum, CeCe Photo, Rippee Photography, Studio M.I.F., Sandra Small Photographer, Discovering My City Magazine, Kostedt Design & Marketing, AAA Imaging, Global Protection Group and Kirk Paving, Inc.
