Leseau, a team captain for the Knights, helped City defeat Victor Valley, 76-68, to open the tournament as she contributed 12 points, seven rebounds and five steals. Earlier in the week, she tallied 12 points in a 56-51 non-league loss to Rio Hondo.

Honorable mention for the week was awarded to basketball players Chelsea Ball (Southwestern), Jalen Olquin ( Imperial Valley) and Alliya Pickney (Palomar).

She contributed 16 rebounds in a 50-49 win over Chaffey, 14 in a 73-60 loss to College of the Canyons in the semifinals, and 20 in a 50-48 setback to Saddleback in the third-place game.
