The annual Western Days Parade marched through Lakeside’s historic downtown for the 54th time on Saturday morning, April 27, 2019. The theme of the day was “investing in our community,” as over 100 participants walked, rode and even bicycled the parade route to the cheers of crowd-lined streets.

Sponsored by the Lakeside Chamber of Commerce, the parade is part of the weekend-long Lakeside Rodeo and highlight the town’s many supporters, amenities, and non-profit groups aiming on making Lakeside the best small town in the county.

The legendary Danny “Buffalo Chip” Alvarez, famed rodeo clown bull fighter, served as the Grand Marshal of this year’s event.
