Actors reveal inner world of characters

Actors in the Grossmont College Theatre Arts Department bring imaginary people to life, revealing the inner workings of the minds and hearts of their characters, in their recent production “Inside the Actor’s Process.”
The cast uses monologues and scenes from contemporary plays to allow the audience to experience the intriguing world of actors, who serve as conduits to reveal the most private and most public thoughts and actions of those they portray.

The cast uses monologues and scenes from contemporary plays to allow the audience to experience the intriguing world of actors, who serve as conduits to reveal the most private and most public thoughts and actions of those they portray.

Arranged and directed by Grossmont College Theatre Arts instructor Jerry Hager, the drama will be performed at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 8, and 2 and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 9, at the Stagehouse Theatre, located on campus in building 21 near parking lot 1. The public is invited to attend.

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased online at www.grossmont.edu/theatrebrochure, or through the box office at (619) 644-7234. All major credit cards are accepted. The box office will open one hour prior to all performances.
