The San Diego Regional East County Chamber of Commerce is celebrating its 22nd Annual Women in Leadership event on Oct. 18 at Sycuan Casino Resort. In 2003, the first WILL was launched with the idea of honoring women who excel professionally and as community leaders.
The heart of WILL centers around each years’ nominees: women who demonstrate exemplary character, integrity, and leadership. The roster of awardees over the past 21 years is a genuine San Diego honor roll. This year is sure to break records with over 500 attendees, emceed by KUSI’s Lauren Phinney, with keynote speaker Dr. Adela de la Torre, President of San Diego State University.
