A new theater season kicks off next month at Grossmont College. “The Hatmaker’s Wife” premiere’s Oct. 5 at Stagehouse Theatre.
The surreal love story by Lauren Yee is about a young woman and her boyfriend who discover the house they have moved into “reveals the magical tale of its previous inhabitants: an old hatmaker and his long-suffering wife who runs away with his favorite hat.”
“The Hatmaker’s Wife”, directed by Jason Heil, runs Oct. 5-7 and Oct.12-14. Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. Oct. 5,6,7,12,13,14 with 2 p.m. Oct. 7 and 14.
Tickets are $10 – $18.
