Walking for her son, Thomas Selbe, 21, who was diagnosed with autism at four years old, Beth was named co-chair of the Walk Now for Autism Speaks San Diego in 2014 and continues to volunteer her time serving on the San Diego, Los Angeles and Orange County walk committees.

As Team Thomas, she has walked for autism over the past six years.

Powered by volunteers and families with loved ones on the autism spectrum, this fundraising effort generates vital funds for autism research and raises awareness about the increasing prevalence of autism, the fastest-growing serious developmental disorder, and the need for increased research funding to combat this complex disorder.
