The year is in full swing, and Parkway Plaza, one of El Cajon’s top destinations for shopping, dining, and entertainment, is starting the year with a variety of events designed to bring the community together. From local vendor markets to seasonal celebrations, the plaza has something for everyone.
One of the early highlights was the Home Town Vendor Market, held Feb. 7 and 8. Visitors explored unique products from local vendors while enjoying a lively, welcoming atmosphere. Guests found handmade goods, collectibles, and other one-of-a-kind items, all while supporting small businesses from around the area.
Collectors, take note. Parkway Plaza’s Parkway Collectibles pop-up event has been moved to Saturday, Feb. 28, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Hosted by The Coin Toss, this free, monthly event brings together fans of Hot Wheels, Funko Pops, Pokémon cards, and other specialty collectibles. Visitors can browse an array of more than 20 vendors and hunt for rare finds.
The event takes place near Victoria’s Secret, across from Hot Topic, and has become a go-to destination for collectors and enthusiasts alike.
Springtime excitement arrives with the annual Bunny Bash, happening Saturday, March 21, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. This free, family-friendly event features crafts, face painting, giveaways, special guest characters, and other festive activities. The Easter Bunny will also be available for photos through Saturday, April 4, giving families plenty of time to capture seasonal memories.
Parkway Plaza continues to serve as a hub for shopping, dining, and entertainment, with new store openings and seasonal promotions planned throughout the year.
