The morning started off with a bang as Run MC sent the runners off with a warm-up led by Sirius Fitness to shake off the cold for the walkers. Dr. Sean Daneshmand, Miracle Babies founder, shared a few heartfelt words before the walk began.

The Kids Zone offered a creative space for kids to make hats, construct bird houses and design their own super hero masks. Jam Fusion, an all kids band, performed a set of classic hits to a post-run pumped up audience, and Star Wars characters made a special appearance, bringing the Force with them and sharing it with all of us.

The Miracle Babies 5K is truly a day that honors, remembers and celebrates all the families who have in some way experienced the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit). As of today we have raised $117,223, well surpassing our goal of $100,000, and we owe it all our incredible supporters! It is because of their support and leadership that we are able to put on this wonderful event that funds our programs and services to support NICU families all year long.
