Contestants were judged on poise, personality, personal interviews, community service, and essays as they donned their “My Style” clothing, followed by evening/party dresses while they answered impromptu questions. As the 2015 titleholders said their farewells, the 2016 ambassadors were chosen in four categories: Miss, Miss Teen, Miss Jr. Teen and Miss Pre-Teen.

Pageant Executive Director Elizabeth McBrayer said although it was a bittersweet farewell for the 2015 titleholders, none of their accomplishments could not have been possible without the support of the parents at pageant sponsors.

In addition to the title winners, Keliyah Williams, Hali Menegos and Jasmine Morales were crowned as part of the 2016 Princess Court. Miss Spring Valley 2016 Alicia Lahti also earned the People’s Choice Award, while Miss College Grove Ajohnee Carroll 2016 earned the title of Miss Congeniality.
