The La Mesa Chamber of Commerce is holding it 9th Annual Summer Bash on Aug. 8 at the Courtyard by Marriot San Diego El Cajon from 5:30-7:30 p.m. There will be raffles, a silent auction, and free door prizes for those who attend.
“We created this event in 2014 to promote our members and the goods and services they provide. It has grown into a high-energy evening that allows our members and friends to get together and mix and mingle, make connections in a fun-filled environment. There is nothing more satisfying than to enter the ballroom and hear the laughter and chatter as people connect with one another. We believe that sound business is built on relationships and the relationships that are forged at our expo, plant the seed for future growth and potential for our members,” said LMCC President and CEO Mary England.
England said the Business Expos are a perfect venue to bring people together.
“When people come together, magic can happen,” she said. “If you enjoy being in a room filled with fun-loving people, high-energy business owners, and surrounded by restaurants eager to serve you delicious food items, then you need to join us on Thursday, Aug. 8,” she said. “This night allows Chamber member business owners and opportunity to showcase their goods and services, as well as offering our attendees a unique evening and an opportunity to meet some of the local businesses within our community.”
During the evening, business vendors will offer attendees to win free prizes. This year, the vendor tables are already sold out.
Tickets to attend are $15 per person. No tickets will be sold at the door. This is a 21-year or older event. Tickets include an opportunity to win numerous door prizes and visit participating restaurants and food vendors to sample their menu items.
