A neighborhood cleanup event is scheduled for Saturday, June 28, from 9 to 11 a.m. around Briercrest Park and along Murray Drive.
Volunteers will meet in the center of Briercrest Park. Limited street parking is available along Wakarusa Street, but attendees are encouraged to use public transit. The Grossmont trolley station is a 15-minute walk from the park.
Participants are asked to wear comfortable clothing, closed-toed shoes and sun protection such as sunscreen or a hat. Trash pickers and buckets will be provided.
Volunteers are encouraged to bring a reusable water bottle.
