The Lemon Grove Lions Club was proud to once again partner with the Lemon Grove Forward Club and the Lemon Grove Improvement Council for this year’s Back-to-School Giveaway. This annual event brings our community together to ensure that every child starts the school year prepared and confident.
From backpacks and notebooks to pencils, lined paper, markers, and more, the need for school supplies is always great. Families often face the challenge of stretching their budgets at this time of year, and our goal is to help relieve some of that stress while giving students the tools they need to succeed.
Thanks to the generous donations from community members and the incredible volunteers who came out to help with backpack-stuffing, dozens of children in Lemon Grove will head into the classroom ready to learn. The energy in the room was inspiring as volunteers worked side by side, carefully packing each backpack with the essentials.
Partnerships like these show what’s possible when neighbors come together for a common purpose. By working hand-in-hand, we’re not only filling backpacks—we’re helping to build brighter futures for the students of Lemon Grove.
The Lions’ motto is “We Serve,” and events like the Back-to-School Supply Drive are a shining example of that service in action. Together, we can make sure every child has a chance to make this school year a successful one.
