The City of El Cajon announces the annual State of El Cajon address, to be hosted by Mayor Bill Wells and the El Cajon City Council. This event will take place at the Courtyard by Marriott, located at 141 Magnolia Ave., on Tuesday, Feb. 6, at 6 p.m.
The State of El Cajon address is a tradition where the mayor and City Council come together to celebrate the city’s accomplishments over the past year and serves as a platform to outline the strategic goals and initiatives planned for the coming year.
In addition to the address, the event will honor exceptional individuals and organizations that have significantly contributed to the community.
These honors include: Business of the Year: Recognizing a local business that has demonstrated exceptional service and contribution to El Cajon’s economic growth. Impact Person of the Year: Celebrating an individual whose efforts have made a profound and positive impact on the community. Veteran of the Year: Honoring a veteran who has continued to serve the community with distinction. Youth of the Year: Acknowledging a young individual who has shown outstanding leadership, commitment, and service to El Cajon.
