Kids Night Out is back at Parkway Plaza starting March 10 every second and fourth Friday from 5-6:30 p.m. through October. This free event features free crafts for kids, dancing, games, giveaways and more.
Parkway Plaza Marketing and Business Development Manager Petra Rich said the venue hosts the event to “positively engage with the community,” giving kids and their families a positive experience with the mall providing free crafts, games, partnering with multiple stores.
“Wetzel’s Pretzels, our video game lounge Smash Haven, as well as one of our other locally owned stores Stacked Pax,” she said. “Everyone comes together and brings video game elements or card games, and we have other things like crossword puzzles, Jenga, and coloring, just to give kids and families a positive place to hang out.”
Rich said children’s’ ages range from 3 to 11-year-olds.
“We serve a wide market and we are able to cater to them all by having different sorts of activities,” she said. “We partner with our video game lounge and they bring over arcade games like PAC-MAN, so those speak to the older and preteen market, and many of our crafts are geared towards younger kids.”
