Hosted by Camp Bow Wow, people and their family pets dressed in its annual Hall-o-Weenie contest at the Downtown Café in El Cajon on Thursday, Oct. 24. Friday brought record crowds to El Cajon’s Second Annual Hauntfest, filled with children’s activities and games, rides, bands and an eerie car show where car and business owners opened their vehicles to hundreds of trick or treaters.
