In its 52nd year, the Miss Lakeside Scholarship Pageant, Teen & Pre-Teen Jr. Miss Lakeside pageant on Feb. 16, selected this year’s community ambassadors at the Lakeside Middle School theater to a sold out crowd.

In its 52nd year, the Miss Lakeside Scholarship Pageant, Teen & Pre-Teen Jr. Miss Lakeside pageant on Feb. 16, selected this year’s community ambassadors at the Lakeside Middle School theater to a sold out crowd.
Celeste Frandsen, walked the runway as Miss Lakeside 2014. Teen Miss Lakeside 2014 Destiny Wisley, earned her crown and for the first time in Lakeside scholarship history, Trinity Stewart took the first crown as Pre-Teen Miss Lakeside 2014.
After comprehensive biographies, many hours of proven community service, a personal interview, speeches and essays, the evening of pageantry was the highlight of the event with dance numbers, casual and evening wear competitions and on-the-spot questions and answers.
With 31 contestants and all events scored by 12 judges, Director Jill Fleming said they were all winners, with the hard work and community service hours each contestant put in to get this far.
Part of the Sand Diego 678 Scholarship Pageant, it is endorsed by the Lakeside Chamber of Commerce, The East County Property Owner’s Association, the Lakeside Highway Lions Club and Lakeside Historical Society.
