Melanie has stayed focused in her goal of making it to the All-American Soap Box Derby World Championships Week in Akron Ohio. She will be heading to Ohio July 10th for a week of activities and racing. Her determination has earned her many trophies and metals along the way. Melanie learned sacrifices must be made to succeed. She missed friend’s birthday parties, and family gatherings. And most importantly kept her grades up by studding on her road trips whenever necessary. Please join us in wishing Melanie good luck. Melanie is proud to represent Region 2 and her home track of Alpine, for the great race.
