Though the artists where the stars for the day, the art studio is one of many programs that Promising Futures provides for more than 60 adults living with developmental disabilities. Through its art studio, clients learn art techniques including drawing, painting, sculpture, jewelry making, photography, fiber art and if Saturday’s show was any indication, anything that comes from their hearts and ingenuities. There were some wonderful pieces of art, some exceptional jewelry and an abundance of decorated boxes, tiles and sculptures, and all for a very reasonable price.
